Grief is something that brings forth undesired emotions. Emotions that cause people to act or respond in a manner they would not normally or in most cases. Nevertheless, grief is hard to ignore when someone has been impacted from the loss of a loved one, suffering from a divorce, etc. Grief escorts a sharp-edged feeling. In a previous devotion, I mentioned how my mother's transition impacted my life and how it generated so much distress. The people who tried to comfort me were saying all the things I did not want to hear, although they meant well. Consider this, when someone is going through challenging times, it is important to know how to address the situation. Sometimes, just being there is suffice.
