To walk in true relationship with God is to surrender every part of our lives to Him, fully and without reservation. This surrender includes our families, our work, our decisions, our dreams, and our very being. Just as we intentionally connect with loved ones daily, we are called to make God the central presence in our lives, not as an addition, but as the very foundation upon which everything else rests.
Yet, unlike any earthly relationship, our connection with the Lord carries eternal weight. He is not only our Father, but also our Guide, our Provider, and our Peace. Drawing near to Him requires commitment, daily communion through prayer, faithful study of His Word, and a heart surrendered to His divine will.
To know God is to know His Word. Scripture is living and active, able to transform our minds, direct our paths, and fill us with truth in a world clouded by confusion. Meditating on His Word daily anchors us in His promises and equips us for every season.
When we ask God to guide us, we are not just seeking direction, we are submitting to His Lordship. Obedience is an act of love and trust. As we yield to His will, He reshapes our hearts, aligns our priorities, and directs us on the path of righteousness.
God, in His infinite wisdom, never misleads His children. When we surrender control, He leads us safely through every trial and triumph. He strengthens us, delivers us, and covers us with His divine protection, because He loves us beyond measure.

Scriptures:
Prayer: “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you” (John 15: 7).
Read & Study: “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success” (Joshua 1: 8).
God’s Will: “Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness” (Psalms 143: 10). When we ask God to teach or guide us, we are doing His will (we are being obedient to His word) - God’s power redirects our lives when we allow Him to lead.
Isaiah 28:26 states, “…God instructs him and teaches him the right way.” When God is in control, we can never go misguided. He will never allow His people to be allured or to be affected more than what we can withstand. Considering, He loves us and will rescue us; He will protect us, when we acknowledge Him in all our ways.
